Todd Samuels, Esq.
Todd Samuels is a seasoned litigator practicing in state and federal courts throughout California. He has successfully tried, arbitrated, and mediated hundreds of cases. Todd grew up on the Monterey Peninsula. He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society. He then attended the University of London earning a Masters Degree (LL.M) in Computer and Communications Law. The Masters program consisted of lawyers from over 100 different countries. Todd then earned his law degree, graduating cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While in law school, Todd earned the Witkin and CALI awards for achievement in Internet Law and Uniform Commercial Code. He also attended an exclusive program at L’Université de Nice in Nice, France where he was taught by the late Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Antonin Scalia. Todd was featured on the 2020 California Top Attorney’s list.
Todd represents individuals in personal injury lawsuits that have been injured by the careless and negligent conduct of others. He also represents individuals and small businesses in business, contract, real estate, and employment matters. Todd lives with his wife and daughter in San Diego.

Dr. Marianna Samuels is a medical optometrist, rendering medical ophthalmologic care relating to ocular disease. Her training and clinical acumen have earned her the reputation and respect within the ophthalmology community to solely perform medical eye care relating to anterior and posterior segment pathology. She has managed tens of thousands of patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal conditions, infectious and inflammatory conditions, as well as detecting brain lesions. She has been in practice since 2011. Having also examined many patients with visual oculomotor dysfunction relating to TBI, Dr. Samuels is routinely retained for expert consulting work in med-legal cases. Dr. Samuels is a contributing chapter author in Trial Guides book by Galina Nikolskaya, MD & Nicholas Rowley, JD Brain Injuries: A Multidisciplinary, Illustrated Guide.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Samuels has always gravitated toward research and has been published in medical journals with a high impact factor. She contributes her time to the research arena to advance science. Dr. Samuels has a specific interest in retina, the neurosensory tissue at the back of the eye that transmits visual information to the brain. She believes that the retina is a biomarker for brain health and intelligence.
Dr. Samuels comes from a family with deep roots in the legal system. She often assists her family with their cases and is also available as a trial consultant and expert witness to the legal community. To her, a trial is a theatrical stage where an attorney’s intelligence, intuition, and knowledge of legal rules are intimately intertwined, leading to a verdict in pursuit of truth and justice.
